Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program

The Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program is an intensive, five week, live-in experience built around an international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary (3 “I”s) educational philosophy for which the International Space University (ISU) is renowned. The program provides a multidisciplinary understanding of the key activities and areas of knowledge required by today’s space professions, including:
• Space science and exploration
• Space applications and services
• Human spaceflight and life sciences
• Space systems engineering and technologies
• Space policy and economics
• Space business and project management
• Space law and regulatory issues
Five full scholarships from the South Australian government will be available in particular for candidates from South Australia. One of the selection criteria is the potential for the successful applicant to contribute to the development of the South Australian space eco-system. Special consideration will be given to qualified indigenous applicants from South Australia (to be mentioned in the additional information section of the application if relevant). Sir Ross and Sir Keith Smith Fund Scholarships 2019: a full scholarship to the value of A$13,500 or half scholarship to the value of A$6,750 for attendance at the Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program from 14 January to 15 February 2019 (Australian residents only). For more info, click HERE.
