ISU 2017 Alumni Conference in Ireland – Double Celebration

This year ISU will celebrate its 30th anniversary and the 30th edition of the Space Studies Program (SSP). 2017 will be a year rich in events and novelties. One of the highlights will be the 2017 alumni conference!

With more than 4,200 alumni from 100 countries and 40% from Europe, we expect many of you to join us for this double celebration starting Friday 21 and ending on Sunday 23 July 2017 in Ireland.

What can I expect? Alumni talks: ISU's impact on an alumnus’ life and career, networking with also the 100+ SSP17 participants, the alumni vision of ISU’s future, an anniversary dinner and more!

The organizing team has concocted a program which will allow those familiar with an SSP to dive back into some memories. And all others to finally live what they have heard about…

Ireland is a beautiful and unique country, renowned for the friendliness of its population. You can for sure expect a warm welcome from the SSP17 host site, the Cork Institute of Technology and the Irish alumni. We thank in particular SSP03/MSS04 Cian Ó Cuilleanáin who is a leading force for this event. He, amongst other activities compiled the touristic tour and especially the registration website - check it out and register!

The International Space University was founded at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1987. Celebrating a milestone is a way to reaffirm ISU’s commitment for the future and share ISU’s story. It is the opportunity for the alumni from all ISU programs, faculty and staff to reconnect and reminisce with classmates and friends and share memories. Be a part of it!
