11th International Systems & Concurrent Engineering Conference (SECESA 2024): Hosted by ISU, Strasbourg, 25-27 September

In an exciting collaboration, the International Space University (ISU), renowned for its commitment to advancing space education and research, is partnering with the European Space Agency’s Technical and Quality Management Directorate and Concurrent Design Facility to host the 11th International Systems & Concurrent Engineering for Space Applications (SECESA) Conference. This Conference is scheduled to take place in the beautiful and historical city of Strasbourg, France, from 25 to 27 September 2024.

The series of SECESA conferences has long been recognized as a nexus of thoughts for leaders, researchers, and practitioners in the field of space systems and concurrent engineering (SE&CE). This year’s conference promises to be a landmark occasion, fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange within the global space community in this area, by looking at innovative approaches enabling and improving current SE&CE methodologies. The latest technologies and tools and relevant applications will also be presented and discussed in a forum of delegates from space agencies, companies, organizations, universities, and institutes involved in space and related activities.

 

The highlights of the conference will include:

– Concurrent Engineering workshops through hands-on sessions and workshops led by experts, exploring the latest advancements in concurrent engineering methodologies for space applications.

– Keynote speeches from prominent figures and pioneers in the space sector sharing their insights on the future of space..

– Research and technical paper presentations from experts that will showcase the latest findings, contributing to the collective knowledge base of systems and concurrent engineering in space applications, and 

– Networking opportunities for connection with professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts from around the world, fostering collaboration and partnerships, as well as inspiring novel ideas and the future generation of workforce

 

Prof Nicolas Peter, ISU President indicates “ISU is honored to have been selected by ESA to host the 11th SECESA Conference in Strasbourg (France). It will allow us to share the ISU expertise in space education and particularly its experience in SE&CE.
