Association of Space Explorers Europe supports ISU SSP21 participant Daria Stepanova

Each summer since 2014 ASE Europe, the European chapter of the international Association of Space Explorers (ASE), has awarded a scholarship to one of the participants of the nine-week Space Studies Program (SSP) of the International Space University (ISU).

This year’s winner is Daria Stepanova, a talented multilingual Russian aerospace engineer with degrees from several high-level Moscow institutions.

Though still early in her career, she has already crossed geological and thematical borders. She is currently working on a CubeSat satellite project with a company in Berlin.

She is active in the Space Generation Advisory Council, another ASE partnership organisation, to encourage the next generation of space professionals in the early phases of their careers.

ASE Europe and ISU have a close cooperation with the seat location of ASE Europe on the ISU central campus in Strasbourg, where one part of this year’s SSP is held until the end of August 2021.
