ISU launches an ASPACE Full Tuition Scholarship for future Master’s Students, in collaboration with SGAC

The International Space University (ISU) is pleased to announce a partnership with ASPACE Satellite Technology Limited (ASPACE),  headquartered in  Saudi Arabia, and with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC).  ASPACE is a subsidiary of  USPACE Technology Group Limited (USPACE), headquartered in Dubai and Hong Kong.   ASPACE will provide one student scholarship for the academic year 2025 to support ISU’s efforts of inclusivity in its student representation. SGAC will promote this scholarship opportunity to its members and participate in the selection process.

This contribution from ASPACE will cover a Full Tuition scholarship exclusively for one student and individual from underprivileged and underrepresented communities and countries to attend the ISU Master program for the academic year 2025. This initiative aligns perfectly with ISU’s commitment to inclusivity and the democratization of space education.

The scholarships will support educational endeavors within ISU – they are dedicated to students who want to follow ISU’s programs.

A joint committee of ISU, ASPACE, and SGAC will award in 2024 one full scholarship for its one-year Master in Space Studies to a selected applicant from Africa who fulfills the requirements of academic and/or professional excellence.

ISU President Nicolas Peter said:

“ISU expresses its deepest gratitude to USPACE/ASPACE for their generous support to give the chance for a future student of ISU’s Master of Space Studies (MSS) coming to Strasbourg in September 2024 from an underprivileged or underrepresented community or country. This partnership also with SGAC is a testament to the importance of nurturing talent for the continued advancement of the global space domain. ISU calls for additional organizations to join this effort to provide a chance to all to join the space sector”.

ASPACE Chairman and CEO Mr. Fengquan SUN said:

“ASPACE is building one of the largest commercial satellite manufacturing centers in the world, and we want to train and hire talented individuals from all countries. Our partnership with ISU is the perfect match to achieve this goal”.

When applying to ISU’s master’s program – you need to be an SGAC member at the time of application – please mention that you have read this post and wish to benefit from an ASPACE scholarship. The application deadline is 30 April 2024.
